With the AC1, OACE is taking an important next step and expanding its lineup to include its very first in-house sneaker. After about a year of development, the result is a shoe that was deliberately designed to blend gym and streetwear. That’s precisely the idea behind the model: a versatile sneaker that works equally well for workouts and everyday wear.

A key focus during development was the sole. It was designed to be both comfortable and stable. The shoe is meant to feel comfortable right away, while its wider construction ensures a secure footing. This makes the AC1 particularly well-suited for the gym and functional training—without being a classic running shoe. Instead, the model is designed as an all-rounder that can be worn in many situations.

OACE also takes a clear approach to design. The AC1 draws visual inspiration from classic sneaker silhouettes but deliberately takes a slightly different path. Many well-known models have a relatively narrow fit. The AC1, on the other hand, features a slightly wider and slightly “chunkier” shape, giving it a more modern look and setting it apart from many other sneakers.
